CMS employs 22 Midwives to care for women and their newborn who are admitted to QEII. In 2015, the midwives cared for 463 women and their newborns that were experiencing primary health care problems in the postnatal period.
On International Midwives Day, CMS congratulates QEII and all midwives on the tremendous work they do every day.
