We are now looking for new members to join our Critical Friends Advisory Group (CFAG). This is a volunteer group of community members who offer their time and skills to provide advice, direction, and advocacy for planning, delivery and evaluation of the care and services we provide to families at QEII Family Centre.
We are looking for individuals who are in a full time or regular caring role for young children in the zero to three years age range. This might include parents, grandparents or foster carers.
This group has been informing us for several years now and has been an invaluable source of guidance in aiding us to better understand the contemporary challenges facing those caring for young children, and providing a critical eye to our approach to service delivery and development.
The group must be able to reflect the perspectives of the community and represent the diversity of the population served by QEII. We regularly recruit new members as retiring members complete their tenure, to ensure a fresh and up-to-date perspective.
If you are interested in being a part of our CFAG, please contact Ellen O’Keeffe on Ellen.O’Keeffe@act.gov.au for more information.
We wish to acknowledge the Ngunnawal people as the traditional owners and custodians of the land on which CMS and its service are located, and their Elders past and present.
